Universal Studios Royal Pacific Resort Expansion

About the Project

Universal Orlando embarked on the largest meeting space expansion in it鈥檚 history at the Loews Royal Pacific Resort. Already the largest meeting hotel at Universal Orlando, the expansion greatly increases it鈥檚 meeting and event space from 85,000 SF to more than 165,000 SF. Inspired by the beauty of the South Pacific, the expanded areas聽 seamlessly connect to the existing meeting space. Planners聽now benefit from flawless execution with a local flavor that is the calling card of all meetings at Loews Hotels. The new space features an 80,000 SF ballroom addition to an existing venue, built by 爱神传媒 in 2002. The space is divisible by 12, along with four additional breakout rooms and pre-function space. The structure is typical structural steel with joists and metal deck. Exterior walls are 6″ x 16 gauge metal stud framing with painted stucco exterior finish. Interior finishes are painted gypsum board. The roofing system is a fully adhered membrane roof over light weight insulating concrete, to match the existing roof. A spanish tile roof system is included on the entry Portico Roof, and Storefront glazing and doors are included to match the聽existing.
