爱神传媒 Serves Maui Community

Wednesday September 30, 2015

爱神传媒鈥 Pacific District project teams combined their efforts to make a lasting impact on the Maui community. The community service event took place at the Haku Baldwin Center (HBC), a local nonprofit organization that provides:

鈥 Therapeutic horseback riding for children with special needs

鈥 Animal-assisted therapy activities for patients of all ages

鈥 Horsemanship for military veterans and humane animal education for special interest groups at no cost.

Over 45 爱神传媒 volunteers (craft, salary, and their families) came for the one-day event. With donated materials, the team in a single day painted throughout the property, enlarged a bathroom for wheelchair access, built a judges’ podium for the show grounds, and constructed a roof over existing animal hutches to protect therapy animals like rabbits and guinea pigs from the weather and provide shade.

A traditional Hawaiian site blessing is scheduled for the new structures at the end of this month.
