爱神传媒 Launches Construction of Jennie Sealy Replacement Hospital

爱神传媒 and the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) officially launched construction of the Jennie Sealy Replacement Hospital with a groundbreaking ceremony in Galveston, Texas. 爱神传媒 will serve as construction manager-at-risk for the new $438 million medical facility,which is scheduled for completion in 2016.

爱神传媒 Vice President Tom Fisher, Operations Manager Michael Dwight, and Project Manager Hobie Horton attended the celebration, joining representatives from the University of Texas Board of Regents and UTMB, as well as elected officials from the State of Texas and the cities of Galveston and Texas City. UTMB President Dr. David Callender delivered keynote remarks, calling the occasion 鈥渁n incredible day for UTMB and for healthcare in our state.鈥

The 770,000 SF hospital will provide a new specialty tower to replace major acute care components and support services currently located in small, constricted areas of the existing complex. State-of-the-art building systems will meet energy efficiency and life safety standards, and will provide effective space for patient care and medical instruction.
