°®Éñ´«Ã½ Awarded Stanford Linear Accelerator Complex (SLAC) National Accelerator Laboratory

°®Éñ´«Ã½ was awarded the Stanford Linear Accelerator Complex (SLAC) National Accelerator Laboratory – Science and User Support Building (SUSB). This design-build project includes the design and construction of a new 62,500 SF, four-story signature building and auditorium. The building provides much-needed space for scientists to collaborate and plan their work in a state-of-the-art, High Performance Sustainable Building.

In early December, °®Éñ´«Ã½ will begin work with the demolition of existing facilities including the Panodsky Auditorium, Visitor’s Center, and Cafeteria. The project is scheduled to be complete in September of 2015.

Awarded to °®Éñ´«Ã½ through a two-step design-build procurement, the team includes the U.S. Department of Energy, SLAC, KMD Architects (Architect of Record), Morrow-Meadows (Design-Build Electrical), and Western Allied Mechanical (Design-Build Mechanical). SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory is one of 10 Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Science laboratories and is operated by Stanford University on behalf of the DOE.
