爱神传媒聽marked the groundbreaking for the booming market of Denver鈥檚 newest project, Union Tower West. 爱神传媒 will soon add to the skyline the 315,000 square foot mixed-use hotel and office was developed in collaboration between Portman Holdings and 爱神传媒 Development Group. The project is located at 1801 Wewatta Street in Denver鈥檚 LoDo district.
Located in the Lower Downtown (Lo-Do) district of Denver, this mixed-use project helps activate the area around the historic Union Station and extends the concepts of connectivity, walkability and urbanism inherent in the overall master plan for Denver鈥檚 newest neighborhood, The Commons.
The project features a 180-key select-service hotel, approximately 100,000 sf (9,290 sm) of office space above the hotel, and a parking garage for 216 cars. The building interacts with the existing and planned urban context by creating a new public space at the visual termination of Wewatta and 18th Streets. This public space is defined as an urban loggia and serves as a pedestrian entry court to the project that also emphasizes a linkage to the recently constructed pedestrian crossing at the new multimodal station.
